About BSides
BSides is a community-led framework for establishing events for and by information security community members.Basically,its a cybersecurity related conference where individuals from information security background pitch,present and discuss and collaborate on various cyber security related issues and research.Started from 2009 in Las Vegas, these events are happening all around the world in all major cities with a goal to expand the spectrum of conversation beyond the traditional confines of space and time.

BSides Kathmandu is responsible for organizing independent BSides approved events for kathmandu. BSides kathmandu is a security conference that provides a platform for first-time speakers, students, new and experienced professionals an environment to present their work in a friendly and welcoming environment. We offer live Bug Bounty sessions,CTFs,conferences and events where interested people and organizations come to collaborate, share their opinions, and learn.BSides kathmandu is focused on discussing,inventing and generating ideas about the next-big-thing in Infosecurity.While each BSides event is unique, we focus on those new to the industry while enabling intermediate and advanced professionals to expand their knowledge.
Why BSides Kathmandu
At BSides Kathmandu, we provide a platform for individuals to both present and participate in a conducive atmosphere that encourages creative thinking. It is an event with discussions, demos,interaction and ideas from participants about Information security. This event is a cybersecurity think-tank with esteemed cyber security professionals pitching ideas, providing solutions to the complex problems of the cyber security world.Everything from Ethical Hacking Competition,CTF’s and Security Conference will be held in this event.
